Chris didn’t like any of them until one of Joe’s coworkers answered the ad.
Joe and Chris had a long checklist of criteria and filtered caretaker candidates. Jenny suggested they get an aid for Chris to help out and Joe was on board! Joe was bummed and exhausted but knew it was an amazing opportunity. However, that meant she had to stay in Atlanta and couldn’t come home for Thanksgiving. Jenny called Joe and told him that her law professor invited her to a pro bono case, giving her a second chance since she had a rocky start.
